HALİT SOKAK (YAHUDİ SOKAĞI)
Sulu Sokak’la bütünleşmiş, Tokat’ta uygarlık geçirmiş bütün medeniyetlerin izlerini taşıyan konut yerleşimidir. Osmanlı Dönemi sonu ve Cumhuriyet Dönemi’nin ilk konutları yer almaktadır. Tarihi kent dokusunun canlandırıldığı sokak Tokat sivil mimarisinin karakteristiğini yansıtır. Tokat geleneksel mimari mirasında “Tokat Evi” diye nitelenen ahşap evlerin yoğun olarak bulunduğu, dünle bugünü içinde taşıyan, Tokat kültürünün güzelliğini, inceliğini ve zevkini yansıtan ahşap iskeletli, kerpiç dolgulu ve iki katlı Tokat evlerinin bulunduğu bir sokaktır.
HALİT STREET (JEWISH STREET)
Housing settlement, which is integrated with Sulu Street, which carries the marks of all civilizations in Tokat. The housings of the end of the Ottoman period and the first housings of the Republic period are located here. The street, which recreates the historical city texture, reflects the civil architecture of Tokat. This is a street where mainly wooden houses which are characterized as “Tokat houses” in the traditional Tokat architecture are located, with their wooden framework, adobe brick walls and two storeys, reflecting the beauty, elegance and taste of Tokat’s culture.
